About
About Elver Tobo — backend software engineer with 4+ years building Python, AWS serverless, and cloud-native systems. Security background; open to remote roles.
My background includes production debugging, security-focused development, infrastructure as code, cloud automation, and reliable backend service design. I also use Cursor to accelerate my development workflow, improve code quality, explore solutions, and increase delivery speed while maintaining technical judgment and ownership of the code.
My main professional experience has been at Fluid Attacks as a Security Developer, where I built multiple features and worked across analytics, engineering, and incident management.
I'm especially interested in roles where I can contribute to scalable systems, improve reliability, and build maintainable software in production environments.
I'm also developing expertise in AI-assisted software systems, including RAG applications and AI agents, with a practical focus on using AI to solve real business and engineering problems.
As a hobby and part of my personal brand, I enjoy writing articles on Medium. If you'd like to read them, you can find them at articles.etobo.tech.
Tech stack: Cursor, Python, FastAPI, AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ECS, Bedrock, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SSM, Terraform, Docker, GitLab, Git, Bash, LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
Have a project or an open role in mind?
I'm open to interesting opportunities, collaborations, and positions where I can contribute.
